Love Your Tat

  • Posted by: Jamie on March 30, 2010 9:08 AM

Tattoos are everywhere these days. In fact, I have several friends and family members who have spent a great deal of time and money on their body art. And, although I love to admire their permanent self expression, I am not quite as brave.

Getting To Know: Liz Libre

  • Posted by: Connie on March 25, 2010 7:45 AM

My brilliant colleague, Jamie Werner, had the wonderful idea of interviewing our very talented clients and other inspiring entrepreneurs. We’re calling the series “Getting To Know.” Each interview is composed simply of 5 questions about their lives, businesses and other tidbits – to let you get to know them a bit better. We hope this series will inspire and maybe sometimes, surprise you!

We’re kicking the series off with Liz Libre, the founder and designer behind Linda & Harriett. Based in Brooklyn, NY, Liz launched her letterpress paper goods company in 2007 and since then, she’s become well-known for her amazing talent and designs. I’m lucky to call Liz both a client and a friend, and am so excited to share this interview with you. Click behind the cut for our questions and Liz’s answers!

Light Up My Life

  • Posted by: Jamie on March 23, 2010 9:00 AM

My Sunday afternoon shopping excursion proved very successful this weekend. Not only did I exuberantly spend (overspent) my Anthropoligie birthday gift certificate on two gorgeous dresses and the loveliest cardigan, but I think I finally found a light for the dining room.

I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of hanging lights at Z Gallerie. A few of my faves:

ShoppingsMyCardio.com

  • Posted by: Connie on March 19, 2010 8:24 AM

When I heard that ShoppingsMyCardio.com was the name of Becki Singer’s blog, I knew that we were going to get along. After years of virtual chatting, I finally had the pleasure of meeting her this week and she’s more fabulous in person! If you don’t already read her blog, I’d highly recommend it. She has an amazing eye that will keep you ahead of the trends and has consistently stylish posts that will make you wish that shopping would be the only cardio you’d ever have to do.

Round and Round

  • Posted by: Connie on March 18, 2010 9:07 AM

I am toying with the idea of getting a round table like the ones below. (Ikea and CB2 have affordable options.) The table would be used as a dual dining and workspace/meeting table. Do you think it could work, or is it impractical?
