Rue Magazine Launches

I’ve been anticipating the debut of Rue Magazine for months, and it’s finally here! I just spent the morning flipping through the pages (included are two of our clients, Hammocks & High Tea and Elva Fields), and am in love with some of their beautiful editorials. Congrats to the Rue team on your fabulous launch!

EarthLust at Fashion Week

For Spring/Summer 2010 Fashion Week, Aveda collaborated with John Patrick Organic, Yigal Azrouël, Jason Wu, Project Runway winner Christian Siriano, and Rodarte to reduce the environmental impact of their shows.

Our client, EarthLust, played a major part by eliminated the need for bottled water. Aveda provided reusable 20 oz. non-toxic stainless steel Earthlust™ bottles filled with New York City tap water.

The Fremont Diner

Over the Labor Day weekend, I headed up to Napa/ Sonoma/ Yountville for a quick day trip, and one of the stops made was The Fremont Diner in Sonoma. Ever since, I’ve been raving about it to everyone. This diner sources their ingredients locally and additionally, has their own farm – so everything is very fresh and delicious. (The menu changes based on seasonal produce.) Moreover, the ambiance is simply charming and it’s a must-stop if you visit the area. I can’t wait to go back!

P.S. They also sell their own sauces, jams, etc. which are not only super yummy, but would also make fabulous gifts.

Swoon for Ruche

How I am just now discovering the amazing boutique with a vintage touch, Ruche, I will never know. But now that I have, I am in love. Pairing modern trends with lovely vintage aesthetics makes for the perfect combo and the prices cannot be beat.  And I always love when you can shop by outfit.  This California girl is ready to buy the entire Fall Collection. (Oh no, somebody stop me!)
