A Great Still Life

Oftentimes, brands underestimate how much phenomenal photography can help the overall branding and look of their products. A photographer, who understands how to style/shoot products and make them look great as a still life, will help elevate the product – ultimately, making a difference to the overall perception of your brand.

Lately, I’ve been scrolling through photographer Nicole Hill Gerulat‘s work, and am so impressed by her still life shots. Nicole has the talent of making products look incredible, nailed. Below are some examples of Nicole’s work, but check out her site for more.

French Photo Retreat

The sweet and very talented Nicole Gerulat, a photographer/ blogger whom I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know since moving to the SF Bay Area, is doing a French Photo Retreat this July. If you don’t have any summer plans yet, I’d recommend checking it out because it sounds utterly amazing. I’m not sure that you can beat 3 days in the French countryside while learning how to take photographs. I wish I could go!

For those who can’t attend (like myself), Nicole also offers classes around the country, and even better, she also has an affordable book called Photo 101, which is essentially everything that you need to know about basic photography.
