Babees Honey

Strong brand identity/ packaging can help elevate you brand image, differentiating yourself from your competitors. We recently came across Babees Honey via Lovely Packaging and immediately thought it was a winner.  The geometric stripes makes the product easily recognizable, while the hand calligraphy elevates the overall look.

Ici Ice Cream

  • Posted by: Connie on May 28, 2010 8:21 AM

With the weather starting to warm up (and hopefully stay warms for the long weekend), I’ve finally been able to try out some ice cream shops in the area and topping the list so far, is Ici Ice Cream. The decor is very sweet, and the unique flavors (made from locally sourced ingredients) are a must-try.  My favorite of the flavors I’ve tried is Creme Fraiche Muscat, but I see more flavor “tests” in the future!

I’m sitting at my desk with a cup of fragrant jasmine tea – the perfect lift (for both the caffeine and the warmth) on this Monday morning. Hope this will be yet another wonderful and productive week!

Homemade Holiday

  • Posted by: Connie on December 22, 2009 9:27 AM

Receiving a homemade or personalized gift is always lovely because you know that someone took the time to really think about you.  This holiday, I wanted to make a few homemade gifts; because I haven’t really done this before (aside from baking), I decided to make a small batch, so only a couple friends received them this year.

I ended up creating a version of the Hot Cocoa Mix from Real Simple‘s December issue. Paired with chic mugs and handwritten instructions – all tied up in a basket, I was really pleased with how it turned out. I definitely think I’ll get craftier next year! Are you giving (or have you received) homemade gifts this year?
