It’s been a Martha Stewart-type of holiday season this year in my kitchen. A few recent recipes I’ve tried include the Cheddar and Sage Biscuits and the Peanut Butter & Jelly Thumbprint cookies. And they’ve been delish! Any favorite holiday recipes you can’t wait to make?
One of my latest unassuming epicurious finds has got to be, hands down, Bull Taco. They have the most amazing daily, fresh specials like kobe beef tacos and salmon ceviche with dill sauce. My fave on the menu is the lobster, bacon, chorizo burrito. If you are ever in North San Diego, you must give them a try! They’ve got two locations, one in Cardiff (the best ocean view in North Country) and one in Oceanside.

We hope everyone had a lovely Labor Day! It’s a short week, so we’re diving in head first into work (coffee in hand). We can hardly believe we’ll be in New York in a month or so!
Summer always brings an abundance of fresh produce, and makes me want to try out new ingredients and recipes. In the past month, I discovered the blog, Green Kitchen Stories, which features beautiful photos and recipes of healthy vegetarian dishes. I dare you not to be inspired after visiting this blog!
We’re recovering from our NYC trip and gearing up for a very busy couple weeks…a strong dose of caffeine is in order and then it’s full speed ahead! (This photo of coffee will be much prettier than ours.)
Can you believe that this is an egg cup? Discovered via Eat Drink Chic, the bunny version (by Hop & Peck) is so appropriate for Easter…a darling morning treat for kids!
Mondays can be tough especially after a bit of a break, but we’re gearing up with a strong dose of caffeine this morning and are ready for what the new week (and year) will bring!
Over the past weekend, I picked up a couple jars from INNA jam, which is made locally here in Berkeley. Each jar is made with fresh organic seasonal ingredients and even cuter, are delivered via bicycle! Check out all the varieties via their website (I bought Raspberry and Blood Orange, though the Strawberry was quite delicious, too).
