In Love with Jannie Baltzer

When the lovely Connie Wong sent me a link to the amazing Jannie Baltzer, I literally almost died. Each luxurious headpiece is unique and meticulously crafted by hand at her studio in Copenhagen. Insprired  by 1920’s and 1930’s Hollywood glamour, Jannie’s creations use French lace, silk, Swarovski crystals, ostrich feathers, glass beads, mother of pearls and other vintage finds. Now, to find the perfect event to wear one of these beauties…

Got an Eye on You

We were thrilled to discover the trend-setting styles and unbeatable prices of the newly popular eye wear company, Warby Parker. Not only do the founders behind this new brand believe that stylish eye wear does not have to break the bank (each pair is only $95 with lenses!), they also give one pair of glasses to those in need for every pair sold! You can even upload your own photo to “virtually try on” all 27 styles.

I was so enamored with the site, I bought a pair of the Thompson‘s! (I’ve been needing to update my eye wear for some time now). I am so excited to have found this forward thinking, socially responsible company.

Swoon for Ruche

How I am just now discovering the amazing boutique with a vintage touch, Ruche, I will never know. But now that I have, I am in love. Pairing modern trends with lovely vintage aesthetics makes for the perfect combo and the prices cannot be beat.  And I always love when you can shop by outfit.  This California girl is ready to buy the entire Fall Collection. (Oh no, somebody stop me!)

Spring into White

I’m smitten with Spring shopping, especially when my mission includes finding a new handbag. And although I love all the fabulous Spring colors, especially yellow, I found myself being “pulled” towards the white bags in every shop I entered. Must be in the mood for a clean palette.
