Love Your Tat

Tattoos are everywhere these days. In fact, I have several friends and family members who have spent a great deal of time and money on their body art. And, although I love to admire their permanent self expression, I am not quite as brave.

When I saw the Temporary Skin Art by Chanel in the recent issue of Lucky Magazine, I thought to myself, ah here’s a gorgeous and short-lived way to “dress up your skin.”

Be Free, People!

Visiting Free People always gives me something to smile about. I love how they flawlessly weave classic California comfort with feminine whimsy.

This Seracina Tiger Lace Dress is so delicate and pretty. You mustn’t forget to turn around in this little number.

The Ruffle Bottom Slip looks so comfy and could be worn so many ways! And I had to include this Ever Sequoia Pinstriped Romper – brings me back to being a kid.

Ten Minutes of Me Time

Between juggling the busy schedules of two kids (ages 4 1/2 and 2), a career (which I love), taking care of all the things that go along with running a family household and, oh yes, let’s not forget my husband, there just never seems to be enough “guilt-free” time for myself.

Luckily, “me time” doesn’t have to take all day or even a few hours. Sometimes taking 10 minutes is all you need.

This morning, I treated myself to a SK-II Signs Eye Mask treatment. I simply applied and sat for ten minutes drinking my morning coffee. Perfect start to a fabulous day!

Miss Ruby Sue

Bib necklaces are already a trend, but I predict that they’re going to be everywhere this fall. (I guarantee you’ll be seeing them in the September issues of your favorite magazines.)  Along those lines…don’t you just adore this stunning over-the-top version by designer Lori Ward of Miss Ruby Sue?  She incorporates lush fabrics and vintage jewels into her entire line, infusing them with luxury and color. Love!
