Build Your Brand with Creative Collaborations

As publicists, we often hear from brands that one of their goals is to work with a brand or retailer with an established or complementary presence. These collaborations can be beneficial for both brands. For a boutique brand, collaborating with another company can offer credibility, as well exposure to a new and/or wider audience.  Brands with an established presence and customer base, collaborate with emerging designers or boutique brands to offer their customers items that are unique and artisanal, yet complement their own product line.

When considering a collaboration, keep the following in mind:

Is a Gifting Suite Right for Your Brand?

What is a gifting suite? It is an event where brands pay a fee to offer products to celebrities in exchange for photos of the celebrity with the product. This can help to build brand recognition and a celebrity fan-base for the brands that participate. A Great Still Life

Oftentimes, brands underestimate how much phenomenal photography can help the overall branding and look of their products. A photographer, who understands how to style/shoot products and make them look great as a still life, will help elevate the product – ultimately, making a difference to the overall perception of your brand.

Lately, I’ve been scrolling through photographer Nicole Hill Gerulat‘s work, and am so impressed by her still life shots. Nicole has the talent of making products look incredible, nailed. Below are some examples of Nicole’s work, but check out her site for more.

The Power of Why

A few months ago, I watched the most interesting branding video by Simon Sinek. He talks about how great leaders inspire action and how the best ideas do not always equate to success within a company. He explains that today’s consumer makes purchasing and loyalty decisions based on “why” a company is in business, as opposed to “what” their business is.

We at Moderne Press instantly felt a connection to this philosophy because it is the way WE do business, as well. We are passionate about PR and the brands we represent. We also feel lucky to have the opportunity to work with brands that feel this same passion for what they do. We hope you are as inspired by this video as we were…enjoy. (Please note: it’s a bit long, about 20 minutes, but totally worth your time.)

Why PR Is Important for Small Brands

At Moderne Press, we love working with small boutique brands – and there’s a reason for it. We know that our PR efforts have a more significant impact on your company. But why is PR important and why should you invest in it?
