Connie Wong launched Moderne Press in 2008 with the desire to work hand in hand with boutique brands, providing them with personalized and dedicated service. With deep experience working with numerous markets from beauty to home décor brands, she is guided by her love and passion for the brands that Moderne Press represents, along with the deep rooted relationships with the media. By working closely with each business, she successfully raises brand visibility by taking an individualized approach that is directed by their goals and brand values. Originally from the NYC area, Machell Espejo comes to Moderne Press with over a decades worth of experience in the publishing world as an editor, as an event manager for high end clientele, and as a marketing executive for various brands. Machell's insight into each industry lends itself to taking each brand and campaign into new horizons.  Oftentimes described as “resourceful,” Machell is constantly consuming media for inspiration and ideas with West Coast, East Coast and global topics. Some of her favorite sources for inspiration are: The Zoe Report, Refinery29, Lonny, Tiny Atlas Quarterly,, Anthropologie, Rue Magazine, Mother Magazine, and 24 East to name a few.  


Bailey Emmons joined the Moderne Press team as an intern, and is now an Account Executive. Born and raised in the Bay Area, she grew up at the intersection of technology and social networking, allowing her to be at the pulse of the latest digital media. Her experience working heavily on social media campaigns has allowed her to build relationships with digital editors and influencers alike. Her love of staying ahead of up-and-coming fashion and lifestyle trends has helped her to secure placements in print publications, such as Real Simple, Glamour, InStyle, Cosmopolitan and O, the Oprah Magazine, as well as digital media outlets such as, Buzzfeed,, The Zoe Report, Coveteur,, among others.


After interning with Moderne Press, Jessica Rule joined the team. Having been raised in the heart of Silicon Valley, an interest in the media - both print and digital outlets - was embedded in her at an early age. As her love for the fashion and lifestyle industry grew, so did her passion to stay on top of the latest fashion, home décor, and media trends. Jessica works closely with Moderne Press brands on social media campaigns, forging connections with influencers and media alike; securing placements such as,,, Oh Joy!, CuppaJyo, Orlando Soria, Taylor Brandenburg, and House Seven Design.
